Indoor air pollution: an international health problem!
The quality of the indoor air we breathe determines our health and well-being.
The less dust, allergens, micro-organisms, and chemical contaminants we inhale, the lower the risk of getting sick.
VIDEO
Demonstrated by studies by leading institution WHO (World Health Organization) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency - the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency), indoor air in our living, working and mobility areas are often 2 to 5 and even up to 100 times more polluted than the air outside due to biological and chemical loads!
The problem is exacerbated by modern methods of energy-efficient construction. As a result, inadequate ventilation often causes undisturbed expansion in our indoor spaces with bacteria, viruses, dust mites, mold, particulate matter and
pollen .
Given the increasing burden of particulate matter and pollutants, clean indoor air is no longer a given. The quality of breathing air has deteriorated significantly in recent years. Everywhere in our indoor spaces, bacteria, viruses, dust mites, mold, particulate matter, and pollen can spread undisturbed.
Plenty of reasons to pay attention to the quality of your indoor air.

• Dust mite
• Mold spores
• Pollen
The compact model, neutral color scheme and ultra-quiet operation make the Clean Air Optima® HEPA UV ionizer air purifier CA-502Pro Mini usable in any interior.
The wide and effective filter spectrum makes the air purifier CA-502Pro Mini particularly suitable for people with asthma, bronchitis, COPD, allergies and persons with weak immune systems.
Clean Air Optima® Air Purifier DUAL Airflow System
Effective air cleaning in six steps:
1. Two-way horizontal suction
Suction of polluted indoor air by the low-noise, powerful fan.
2. Two pre-filters/active carbon filters
Two prefilters capture larger dust particles and other pollutants, such as pet hair and dander. Both activated carbon filters effectively filter gases, chemicals, cigarette smoke, volatile organic compounds (VOC) and odors such as pet, mold, kitchen and paint odors formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia, nicotine, etc. from indoor air.
3. Two TRUE HEPA (H13) filters with nano silver coating
Both of these filters purify 99.97% of all suspended matter down to 0.3 micrometers (0.3 µm) from the air.
The HEPA filter is the most effective air filter for removing:
• (fine) dust, cigarette smoke, pollen
• allergen
• any other solid particles
The antibacterial layer of nano silver coating on the filter eliminates bacteria and molds.
HEPA filters are recommended in the USA by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
4. UV-C LED Lamp
The lamp's ultraviolet light (UV-C radiation) with a wavelength of 254nm kills health-damaging microorganisms such as: germs, viruses, molds (mold spores) and bacteria. In addition, microorganisms collected in the device are destroyed. This prevents them from multiplying and being distributed throughout the room by the airflow. Of all the light, UV light has the highest frequency, the shortest wavelength and therefore contains the highest amount of energy which through its radiation pierces the outer membrane of the organism and destroys the DNA. With thousands of units of this type installed worldwide, the integrated UV technology has proven UV radiation to be highly effective against pathogenic viruses, bacteria and single-cell organisms.Through the application of UV light, microbiological inactivation rates of 99.99% and higher can be achieved.
5. DUO ionizer ozone-free DIN EN 60335-2-65
Two ionizers with a total capacity of > 3,000,000 negative ions / cm³ are dispersed throughout the room, neutralizing harmful substances and odors. Negative ions attach themselves to dust particles, microorganisms and other unwanted substances in the air and bind them together. The particles thus become heavier than the air and fall down or are filtered out of the air by the air cleaner.
6. Purified air
Clean, healthy breathing air flows from the top of the air purifier into the indoor space.
Effectiveness Clean Air Optima® air purifiers with CADR certification
The Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) effectiveness criterion determined in vendor-independent laboratory testing puts the Clean Air Optima® air purifier CA-502Pro Mini at the top among compact systems for improving indoor air quality. The highly effective filter system purifies micro - fine particles down to 0.3 micrometers (0.3 µm) from the air with 99.97% efficiency.
The CADR value indicates the result with which the air purifier filters particles such as smoke, dust -and pollen from indoor air. This is measured by independent agencies in standard rooms up to 20.4sqm, with measured values ranging from 10 to 450 cubic feet of particle-free air per minute.
The CADR value of the HEPA UV ionizer air purifier CA-502Pro Mini is
100 M³ of particle-free air/hour
.
The high-end Clean Air Optima® air purifier CA-502Pro Mini assures the user of healthy, clean breathing air in the indoor environment.

Usage and maintenance
Exterior cleaning
Exterior cleaning of the air purifier:
1. Turn off and unplug the device.
2. Use a soft and damp cloth to clean the unit from dust and dirt.
3. Make sure that no water gets into the device.
Cleaning and replacement of filters
The Clean Air Optima® air purifier CA-502Pro Mini is equipped with a filter life monitoring mechanism, indicating that the filters should be replaced after 400 hours of operation. To indicate that the composite filters (HEPA + activated carbon filter) need to be replaced, the indicator light on the air purifier begins to illuminate. Reset the timer for the composite filter by pressing and holding the Timer button (about 3 seconds). If the indicator light goes out, the timer has been successfully reset.
Depending on use, the composite filters have a service life of about 2-3 months.
Signs of depleted filters: increased noise level, decreased airflow, clogged filter and increased presence of odors. If the HEPA filter changes color, from white to gray or black then the filter should be replaced with a new filter. If the HEPA filter remains white it does NOT need to be replaced.
For optimal effect, the pre-filter in Clean Air Optima® air purifier CA-502Pro Mini and the TRUE HEPA filters can be cleaned monthly in between with a soft brush or your vacuum cleaner (see air purifier manual CA-502Pro Mini).
Warning:
Never wet or rinse the composite filters (HEPA + activated carbon filter) with water.
