Optimum humidity
The
optimum humidity recommended by medical specialists is in the range of 40 to 60% relative humidity. People perceive the air in indoor spaces with humidity in this range as pleasant and having optimum humidity. This humidity level is thus ideal for the health of people and animals as well as protecting furniture, wooden floors, musical instruments, antiques, plants and many more valuable items indoors from drying out.
The CA-607W Smart, an effective

Indoor air humidification by ultrasonic humidification
Healthy, fresh, optimally humidified and fragranced indoor air prevents irritated airways and dry skin. Ultrasonic technology can be used to achieve the right humidity in indoor spaces during periods of low relative humidity.
Ultrasonic technology is one of the most effective methods of humidifying indoor spaces. Ultrasonic water atomization is carried out by a small, high-frequency vibrating plate (membrane) in the water tray of the humidifier. The ultrasonic membrane finely atomises the water into a cold or warm mist, which is then released into the indoor air by a gentle airflow from a fan.

Ionisation air purification
The built-in ioniser produces negative oxygen ions that purify and refresh indoor air in addition to humidification. Negative ions attach themselves to dust particles, microorganisms and other undesirable substances in the air and bind them together. These particles become heavier than the air, drop down and are thus filtered out of the air.
Heating element for warm humidification
The CA-607W Smart humidifier features a heating element for warm humidification. Mist generation is at its most efficient and humidity is increased most rapidly when the heating element is switched on. Pre-heated humidification also combats bacterial growth in the water and maintains room temperature at the desired level during the winter months.
Aromatherapy with Clean Air Optima® essential oils
The use of essential oils is known as aromatherapy. Aromatherapy focuses on maintaining and promoting health, and healing disorders. Aromatherapy has an air purifying effect and removes unpleasant odours. Use it to create a pleasant ambience in your living spaces and enjoy feeling comfortable and more relaxed. Clean Air Optima®'s high-quality essential oils are micro-fine atomised by the CA-607W Smart humidifier with ioniser, UV-C lamp and aroma atomiser, creating a fragrance composition tailored to your wishes.
Ultrasonic humidification with UV-C sterilisation
The ultrasonic membrane converts water into cold micro-fine mist, which passes through the UV-C lamp for sterilisation and is then released to the indoor space via the spray nozzle.
The UV-C lamp makes an additional contribution to eliminating bacteria and viruses, thereby preventing odour emanating from the water.
Humidifier with simple operation and digital display
The clearly set out digital control panel on the front of the CA-607W humidifier features seven touch keys for easy selection of the desired settings. In addition, the CA-607W Smart humidifier also features a remote control and control using the Clean Air Optima App®.

Usage and maintenance
Water Filter W-01W (display message 00)
The Clean Air Optima® CA-607W Smart humidifier is equipped with a water filter that descales, purifies and softens the tap water, thereby preventing limescale deposits and unpleasant odours from the water. The water filter can be cleaned twice a week under running tap water.
Determining the water hardness with the test strip supplied in the packaging
1. Dip the test strip included into a glass of cold tap water for 1 second.
2. Read the water hardness test strip after one minute.
3. Refer to the table to determine the expected service life of the W-01W water filter.
The need to replace the W-01W water filter is indicated by the double-zero (00) indicator light in the humidifier display starting to flash after 400 hours of operation.
Reset the water filter timer by pressing and holding the humidifier’s on/off button for about 3 seconds. The timer has been successfully reset once the indicator light goes out.
Silver Ion filter SI-01
The Silver Ion Filter SI-01 eliminates bacteria and viruses in the humidifier water tray and can be cleaned twice a week under running tap water and needs to be replaced at least once a year.
Water Filter W-01W combined with Silver Ion SI-01 filter ensures optimum water quality.
Cleaning the transducer (ultrasonic membrane), water tray and water tank
Method for this cleaning process:
1. Dispense 2 - 4 capfuls of Clean Air Optima® Cleaner & Descaler into the water tray (spread 1 capful on the surface of the transducer and 1 capful on the PTC heating element and leave to act for 2 -5 minutes.
2. Carefully remove the mineral (limescale) deposit from the surface of the transducer and PTC heating element with a small brush, cotton bud or toothbrush.
NB: Never use sharp or hard objects to clean the transducer / PTC heating element.
3. Then add water up to the rim of the water tray and leave it to act for a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 60 minutes.
4. Thoroughly rinse the transducer / PTC heating element and the water tray with water.
5. If there are still traces of limescale visible, we recommend that you repeat the cleaning and descaling process.
6. Clean the inside of the water tank with mild washing-up liquid and rinse with clean water.
After cleaning and descaling, your unit will be hygienically clean, free from limescale, free from bacteria, free from viruses and immediately ready for use again.
NB:
To clean and descale the unit, it needs to be switched off such that the atomization does not release acid into the air via aerosols.
Clean Air Optima® Cleaner & Descaler is not suitable for the water tank. We recommend using mild washing-up liquid for the water tank.
Using essential oils
Only Clean Air Optima® essential oils developed for ultrasonic aroma vaporisers and humidifiers can be used for aromatherapy.
The use of other essential oils or additives not developed for ultrasonic aroma vaporisers/humidifiers can cause damage to the unit! Units damaged by such additives are not covered by warranty.
